About the area

The villa is located in the green natural reserve Parc National de Port Cros. The area while nestled in natural beauty is centrally located near the pretty town of Ramatuelle. Driving along the coastal Route des Plages then onto Route de Ramatuelle, the villa’s location is hard to beat for access to the glamorous clubs at Pamplonne including Club 55, La Réserve, Byblos Beach, Tropézina among other world famous clubs. The town of St Tropez, 15 mns away was once a dormant fisherman port and is now home to some of the best summer entertainment, food and a summer shopping destination in its own right.
The villa offers the opportunity to enjoy a calm day around the pool while at the same time jotting to St Tropez, Ramatuelle or Gassin for a walk, drink or some shopping.
The local village of La Croix Valmer and town of Cavalaire provide a more local French flavour with many down to earth restaurants, boutiques and local services including all year round open “boucher, patisserie, boulangerie and cave” for some of the best meat, bread, cheese and wines in the region.
The area is dotted with wineries giving it a laid back Nappy Valley feel with among others domains like Chateau Minuty and Domaine de La Croix that you can visit during your stay.

St Tropez

Saint-Tropez is both the Provence and the Côte d’Azur, a dream destination where you can find the best of the traditions of Provence, as well as a relaxing and busling chic lifestyle, typical for the Mediterranean coast.

Whether you decide to stay alone, as a couple, with your family or with friends, for a weekend or for several days, Saint-Tropez will always be able to amaze you and offer you activities that match your ambitions: chilling on the beaches, cocooning in the spas of the most beautiful hotels, shopping sprees, favorite foods delivered and prepared by the best Chefs, and parties until the crack of dawn.

Ramatuelle

Ramatuelle is a medieval and picturesque village perched on top of sea in heart of a preserved nature reserve.
It dominates the Bay of Pampelonne and the agricultural plain, at an altitude of about 130 meters.
Ramatuelle is a peaceful village and without exuberance that contrasts with the “ people” and the trendy beach of Pampelonne.
The heart of the village presents an original snail configuration.
Its core architecture is typical of Mediterranean villages revealing porches, stairs, passages, squares, narrow streets paved with flowers, a church and its bell tower. Ocher facades and pastel shutters are decorated with jasmine, honeysuckle and bougainvillea, a feast for the senses.

Gassin

Gassin is a medieval village perched 200 meters above sea level, nestled in a green setting. It has, from the roof of the tourist office, an extraordinary panorama on the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. On the other side of the village, a splendid view of the bay of Cavalaire and the islands of Or is revealed.

Gassin is a famous village for its old stones, its quality restaurants, its tranquility and its charm.

Sentier du Litoral

When on holiday in Ramatuelle, there’s one hike you just have to do and that’s The Sentier du Littoral at Cap Taillat. From la Plage de l’Escalet, this magnificent ramble starts under the deep blue sky and colourful parasols with tourists paddling in the water. The vegetation along the rocks offers a clear path even though it is sometimes steep. Be careful where you put your feet even if the call of this azure blue sea makes you want to dive in at each creek you come to. Go over a little wooden bridge which makes this walk look like something out of a lost paradise and takes you straight to the Seychelles of the Var. The nearer you get to the Cap, the more there is to discover on this still-lush peninsula before the extreme heat of summer.
